The best time of year is usually Jul - Mar. Our special trips are on the secluded Rivers which are the most remote, pristine peacock bass fisheries in the entire Amazon basin. These scenic, clearwater rivers hold impressive numbers of peacocks in the 5-20-pound class. Sight casting opportunities for big cruising peacocks on sand flats are a daily occurrence. Our rivers are outstanding for both conventional and fly casters alike. Eight anglers per week on the entire fishery make for a classic aesthetic angling adventure!

Why are exclusive (privately leased) preserves so crucial for Peacock Bass fishing? Since 2002, the Brazilian authorities have granted us exclusive fishing entry permits in over 12 Indian Reservations and Government Preserves, in exchange for humanitarian financial commitments.
Thanks to these permits our guests don’t waste time in marginal over-fished waters, due to the high fishing pressure from commercial, survival and sport-fishing as it happens with river areas which are open-to-the-public.
We know the standards American anglers have come to expect, and we have the experience, the local connections and the backcountry savvy to provide an unparalleled fishing adventure.
Our Ecologically Responsible Approach: We are the only outfitter in Brazil that has legally obtained fishing permits for Indian reserves by negotiating in good faith with Brazilian governmental authorities
These permits restrict potentially damaging commercial fishing, greatly benefitting the Indian tribes by preserving land, water courses and wildlife in these delicate ecosystems.
We conduct our trips according to the "zero footprint" principle. Guests spend very little time in the actual rainforests; instead, they're either in the fishing boats or eating and resting in our floating cabins. Many of our products are biodegradable, and we carefully remove all garbage. Our goal is to leave no sign of our presence.

Saturday Anglers must be in Manaus MAO by late this evening for early AM departure the following day. The TAM flights (this is subject to change between now and the departure date) leave Miami daily at 5:40AM and arrive in Manaus at 11:45AM. You’ll overnight in Manaus this night.
Sunday - Early breakfast at hotel before morning transfer to camp – ½ day fishing upon arrival if time allows.

Sunday – Depart back to Manaus on private charter, then departing after 2:00PM and arriving Miami at 6:25PM.
